The Muntjac Deer are from India and are also known as the Barking Deer.  They actually sound much like a dog barking when alarmed.  They have dark ridges that reach to their antlers on their forehead.  They have antlers and tushes which are used as weapons when fighting.  They are shy and prefer to be alone - not often seen in groups.  They are another small deer and are about 20 - 24" tall.
